Il Ministero ha emesso il 21 giugno 2019 un francobollo ordinario appartenente alla serie tematica “il Senso civico” dedicati all’ “assistenza ai malati” ed in particolare all’AIC – Associazione Italiana Celiachia, linfomi e mieloma nel 40° anniversario della fondazione, relativo al valore della tariffa B, corrispondente ad €1.10.

Il Gruppo AIC deve affrontare nuove sfide, la maggior parte delle quali nasce dal moltiplicarsi delle informazioni, delle richieste, dei progetti sul tema della celiachia, la cui visibilità è cresciuta in modo consistente negli ultimi anni. Servono competenza, serietà, idee chiare per evitare che il tema venga banalizzato o sfruttato per realizzare profitti a scapito della salute dei pazienti. La strada da percorrere è ancora lunga e la tensione positiva non deve diminuire. Aspiriamo a un mondo in cui la celiachia non costituisca più una penalizzazione, neppure minima, per le persone, nella vita privata, nel lavoro e in ogni altro contesto sociale. Dal 1979 AIC è il punto di riferimento unico in Italia per quanto riguarda la celiachia e risponde alla necessità di chiarezza, onestà e competenza per tutto ciò che riguarda questa patologia. Nel corso del tempo ha contribuito a migliorare enormemente la qualità di vita delle persone celiache e delle loro famiglie. Dialoga con gli interlocutori istituzionali portando la voce dei pazienti presso i tavoli di discussione e nei luoghi di dibattito sui temi che li riguardano da vicino, cura la relazione con i media e fa rete con le realtà internazionali. Predispone gli strumenti affinché le sue associazioni territoriali, presenti in tutte le regioni italiane, possano svolgere in modo efficace ed efficiente le loro funzioni, grazie ai loro associati e ai loro volontari. Ogni AIC associata, integrandosi nella missione di Gruppo, risponde all’esigenza del dialogo con le persone celiache, fornendo soluzioni ai loro problemi e recependone i nuovi bisogni. Si rapporta con le realtà locali pubbliche e private, aderendo alle linee guida condivise con AIC. La Fondazione Celiachia sostiene la migliore ricerca scientifica sulla patologia in Italia. Attraverso i bandi di ricerca finanzia progetti che mirano a individuare una cura e a migliorare la qualità della vita delle persone celiache attraverso lo studio delle caratteristiche della malattia celiaca, delle sue complicanze, della diagnosi e della dieta senza glutine, la terapia della celiachia.

On 21 June 2019 the Ministry issued an ordinary stamp belonging to the thematic series “the civic sense” dedicated to “assistance to the sick” and in particular to the AIC – Italian Celiac Association, lymphomas and myeloma on the 40th anniversary of the foundation, relative at the value of tariff B, corresponding to € 1.10.
The AIC Group faces new challenges, most of which arise from the multiplication of information, requests and projects on the subject of celiac disease, the visibility of which has grown consistently in recent years. We need competence, seriousness, clear ideas to prevent the issue from being trivialized or exploited to make profits at the expense of patient health. The road ahead is still long and the positive tension must not decrease. We aspire to a world in which celiac disease is no longer a penalization, not even a minimum, for people, in private life, at work and in any other social context. Since 1979 AIC has been the only point of reference in Italy with regard to celiac disease and responds to the need for clarity, honesty and competence for everything related to this disease. Over time it has contributed to enormously improve the quality of life of celiac people and their families. It dialogues with the institutional interlocutors bringing the voice of patients to the discussion tables and in the places of debate on the issues that concern them closely, takes care of the relationship with the media and forms a network with international realities. It prepares the tools so that its territorial associations, present in all Italian regions, can carry out their functions effectively and efficiently, thanks to their associates and their volunteers. Each associated AIC, integrating itself in the mission of the Group, responds to the need for dialogue with celiacs, providing solutions to their problems and accepting their new needs. It relates to local public and private realities, adhering to the guidelines shared with AIC. The Celiac Foundation supports the best scientific research on the pathology in Italy. Through research calls, it finances projects that aim to identify a cure and improve the quality of life of people with celiac disease by studying the characteristics of celiac disease, its complications, the diagnosis and gluten-free diet, and the therapy for celiac disease.
