Con un fatturato che supera i 16,2 miliardi di euro e un indotto che dà lavoro ad oltre 100.000 lavoratori, il settore della trasformazione del latte è leader dell’agroalimentare italiano ed è protagonista indiscusso del panorama internazionale, grazie alle esportazioni che rappresentano quasi il 40% della produzione casearia e hanno quasi raggiunto 3 miliardi di euro di valore.

E mentre in una fredda lontana città tedesca – Norimberga – nel 19545 iniziava il processo che avrebbe dovuto fare luce sulle responsabilità di milioni di morti, 74 imprenditori illuminati e lungimiranti, piccole medie industrie, insieme con alcune cooperative si riunivano a Milano dando vita ad Assolatte. C’è un enorme lavoro da fare per aiutare il Paese e le Industrie a ricostruire il sistema economico lattiero caseario. E’ passato ormai molto tempo, ma Assolatte è sempre rimasta il fondamentale punto di riferimento delle imprese, per rappresentarne in ogni sede le esigenze e per divulgarne i valori. Lo ha fatto, e continua a farlo, con entusiasmo e con professionalità, facendosi interprete dei problemi delle imprese, nell’intento non solo di risolverli, ma anche di prevenirli.
Assolatte rappresenta e tutela le industrie attive in Italia nel settore lattiero caseario operando a livello locale, nazionale e comunitario presso tutti gli Organismi e le Istituzioni competenti. In particolare, Assolatte:
- negozia e sottoscrive con le organizzazioni sindacali il contratto collettivo nazionale dei lavoratori dell’industria alimentare, in coordinamento con le altre associazioni alimentari aderenti a Federalimentare;
- rappresenta gli interessi degli associati nei confronti delle Pubbliche Amministrazioni nazionali e locali, delle Istituzioni europee , e delle organizzazioni internazionali (FIL/IDF).
- partecipa alle attività dell’ Unione Europea e delle Amministrazioni nazionali, centrali e periferiche, collaborando alla formazione e alla corretta interpretazione delle disposizioni normative del settore;
- collabora con i Consorzi di Tutela dei Formaggi a Denominazione di Origine Protetta;
- realizza numerose iniziative per la valorizzazione dell’immagine delle imprese e dei prodotti del settore e per la diffusione di una corretta informazione del consumatore.

ASSOLATTE

There is a huge amount of work to be done to help the country and industries rebuild the dairy economic system. A long time has passed by now, but Assolatte has always remained the fundamental point of reference for companies, to represent their needs in every location and to disseminate their values. He did, and continues to do so, with enthusiasm and professionalism, acting as an interpreter of business problems, with the aim not only of solving them, but also of preventing them.
Assolatte represents and protects the industries active in Italy in the dairy sector by operating at local, national and community level with all the competent bodies and institutions. In particular, Assolatte:
• negotiates and signs the national collective agreement for food industry workers with the trade unions, in coordination with the other food associations belonging to Federalimentare;
• represents the interests of the members towards national and local public administrations, European institutions, and international organizations (FIL / IDF).
• participates in the activities of the European Union and national, central and peripheral administrations, collaborating in the formation and correct interpretation of the regulatory provisions of the sector;
• collaborates with the Consortia for the Protection of Protected Designation of Origin Cheeses;
